Not Long Now

January 25, 2013

It’s been a busy month which has felt like a year so far, gradually fitting all the pieces together for the arrival of Kanye Lens Vs Soundwave Volume 1. I’ve seen and cuddled the preview copy which was a surreal experience. Even though I know the physical dimensions of the book it felt so much bigger in real life. Kinda weird, but in a good way. The books are traversing the high seas as we speak and should arrive into Melbourne on the 5th February. Depending on how long it takes for them to get through customs I should be receiving the delivery between the 8 – 12th February.

If you are keen to have a look through the book before (hopefully) purchasing, the book will be at all of the Soundwave shows at the 3wise Records stand which is also next to the Maniacs stand. So in between beers and moshing, go check it out. It will be for sale but you seriously don’t want to lug that sucker around with you all day.

I’m also in the midst of organising some launch / exhibition shows where you will also be able to purchase a book. The first one confirmed is Melbourne. Details are below. Opening night is February 20th 6-9pm at Thousand Pound Bend, (love that place!) Stayed tuned to your social networks for some other cool things happening at the Melbourne exhibition during the Sidewaves Mania week. Happy Hour and giveaways anybody?

It will also be available in some ultra cool independent music and book stores but I haven’t got that far yet.

But you know by far the easiest way to secure yourself a copy of the numbered and signed edition (limited to 2000 only) is You will get it delivered and it will get you amped for Soundwave 2013 (it’s not like you need any help there though)

Checkout some more pages from the book, pictures of the book and the Melbourne Exhibition details below.
